Summary: To assist Land Surveyor in data conversion exercise of survey plans.
DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
To
perform all activities in Data conversion of survey maps, including the
following;
2.
To
sort and record all approved survey plans in data conversion exercise;
3.
To
scan all survey plans in data conversion exercise;
4.
To
Geo-referencing survey plans with QGIS in data conversion exercise;
5.
To
Vectorize survey plans with QGIS in data conversion exercise;
6.
To
participate in Parcel identification in unplanned areas;
7.
To
redraw town planning drawings as needs may arise;
8.
To
Prepare daily reports; and
9.
To
perform any other related duties as may be assigned by immediate supervisor
QUALIFICATION AND
EXPERIENCE
·
Certificate
in one of the following fields; Geometrics and Geo-informatics or equivalent
academic qualifications from a recognized institution.
·
Applicants
should be qualified and experienced in the practice of spatial data analysis
software (QGIS) and must have Laptop and Smartphone. Experience in similar
projects will be added advantage.

Tanzania and not above 45 years old, however, should also observe the age limit
