OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our EMEA Demand Generation team to drive brand awareness, marketing qualified leads (MQLs) generation and online sales using full marketing communication channel mix. As a member of the EMEA Demand Generation Team, you will own creation and execution of Chemistry Segment Demand Generation (DG) Plan for EMEA region with particular focus on digital channels ensuring alignment with global direction.

You will select target audience, develop compelling value propositions, grow database of your segment(s), guide the journey of our customers (potential and existing) using creative content plus channels mix and improve conversion rate across the sales funnel to achieve your segment(s) sales objective (AOP) in partnership with global DG, EMEA field marketing and regional sales teams. You will act as regional subject matter expert for Online Sales, Analytics and A-B Testing.

The position requires a seasoned marketer with a passion for developing ROI focused communication strategies and scaling demand generation initiatives across EMEA that educate our customer base about our solutions and strengthen their perception of our brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In order to achieve this, you will:
  • Develop the EMEA DG plan for Chemistry segment using agreed campaign framework.
  • Collaborate with global DG, EMEA field marketing and regional sales teams to ensure alignment.
  • Design digital plus hybrid events for demand generation based on ROI clarity ensuring fair coverage across segments plus countries in collaboration with regional field marketing and sales teams.
  • Deliver best in class digital plus hybrid event management and e-mail marketing.
  • Craft compelling value propositions in conjunction with subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Project manage high value content (webinars, video, white paper, ROI calculators, etc) creation in partnership with SMEs.
  • Working with global demand generation team, drive EMEA online sales, regional analytics dashboards and become A-B Testing design and tracking champion.
  • Coach regional DG teams in analytics dashboard use and A-B Testing best practices.
  • Develop step-by-step 'how to' guides encompassing best practice and success stories.
  • Contribute to on-the-page Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
  • Leverage use of social media (paid & owned/organic) and 3rd party sources including but not limited to trade publishers to grow target audience database for Chemistry segments across the region.
  • Drive the quality of CRM database in conjunction with regional DG, sales and field marketing teams.
  • Make sure customer enquiries are uploaded in CRM within specified service level agreement (SLA) using Open Price.
  • Analyze Chemistry segment campaign activity performance against KPIs to ensure ROI.
  • Participate in global/regional/local special projects as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

TO REACH YOUR OBJECTIVES, YOU WILL CALL ON:

  • Budget Management, Negotiation (with Publishers, agencies, freelancers, etc), External Partners Management and Analytical skills
  • Marketing Communication Channel Mix with particular focus on digital channels and digital + hybrid events
  • E-marketing (preferably using Marketo), CRM (preferably Salesforce), familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud and HTML notions
  • PPC & On-page SEO
  • Curiosity to learn about our business, products, applications and technologies – you need not become expert in these but MUST NOT feel overwhelmed by science
  • Ability to work in matrix organization and multicultural teams
  • Value proposition development
  • Customer and result (ROI) focus
  • Familiarity with scientific/engineering/technology terminologies and copy writing for digital campaigns
  • Project management
  • Organised and structured approach combined with persuasion and influencing skills
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Oral and written communication in English - fluency in other European language(s) a big plus
  • Must be a graduate (preferably in Business/Marketing) with experience in b2b marketing ideally in application focused scientific/engineering/technology driven international matrix organization. CIM qualification desired
