JOB SUMMARY
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To carry out lectures, conduct tutorials, seminars and practicals for undergraduate programmes;
- To prepare and present case studies;
- To conduct and publish/disseminate research results;
- To participate/contribute in curriculum development;
- To recognize students having learning difficulties, intervene and provide assistance and support;
- To guide students in various academic issues;
- To participate in consultancy and community services under supervision;
- To attend workshops, conferences and symposia; and
- To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATION
AND EXPERIENCE
Master of Educational
Management and Administration or Master of Educational Leadership and Policy
Studies or Master of Education in Arts or Master of Arts with Education or
Master of Arts in Education Management and Planning or Master of Education in
Curriculum Studies or Master of Education in Economics and either a Bachelor of
Arts with Education (Economics as a subject of specialization) or Bachelor of
Education in Arts (Economics as a subject of specialization) from a recognized
academic institution. The candidate should possess a GPA of at least 4.0 points
at Master’s Level and a minimum GPA of 3.8 points (out of 5 points) at
Bachelor’s Level and a minimum of B+ in Economics Teaching Methods
