Lead Product Manager, Platform Global Experiences

About the role

As a Lead Product Manager on the Customer Platform team, you will identify opportunities and define/deliver products that help our Customers every day. You will lead a team of product managers and partner with cross functional teams of engineers, designers researchers, data scientists and marketing executives to build and scale our engagement platform.

The Customer Platform team is at the heart of our Super App strategy. This team sits across all the services offered on the Super App, giving you exposure to all the verticals in order to better serve our Customers. Our mission is to enrich our Customer’s life, making everyday decisions effortless by building a deep understanding and connection.

Your focus will be on one or more of the following areas:

·       Building global experiences that cut across all services

·       A communications platform to centralize all customer communication

·       Drive alignment and adoption of our design system

Your role will be pivotal to shaping the future of the Super App common experiences across Careem.

Responsibilities

·       Establish the product vision and strategy for your product area.

·       Be a key representative for our Customers, as well as our partners that host services on the platform.

·       Take a data and user-centric approach to design easy-to-use and intuitive products for Customers.

·       Have an insane focus on data and drive impact through customer research and experimentation

·       Define goals and success with clearly measurable outcomes

·       Lead multiple cross-functional groups to delivery on the team’s mission

·       Identify new opportunities, size them up, make tough choices, drive the roadmap and scale.

What you'll need to succeed:

·       8+ years of product management experience

·       Demonstrated track record of product leadership

·       Relentless focus on user experience and attention to detail

·       Built and scaled global consumer products

·       A strong ability to effectively use data and perform business analysis to define product strategy/decisions

·       Can drive the execution of multiple product teams in a fast-paced environment

·       Understand customer needs. Can ask the right questions and conduct analysis.

·       Desire to do individual contributor product management work whilst leading a team of product managers

·       Strong experience working in an experimentation driven product environment

·       Experience working with cross-functional teams of engineers and data scientists to deliver world-class products.

You are an excellent and concise communicator with any audience. You can easily explain complex concepts to people with no domain or technical knowledge
